Electric road systems (ERS) represent a complement to stationary charging by charging the vehicles while they are moving. Electric roads can substantially increase the efficiency of e-mobility, increase the available utilization time of the vehicles, reduce battery size, and create a new profitable infrastructure for operators of electric road infrastructure.
