This session shared the results of the work completed by the Mobility in Urban Areas Technical Committee through 3 main issues strictly related to the deliverables of the 3 WGs of the TC.
For each issue a selection of papers was presented to enrich and open the view on the topics. Two Q&A and panel discussions were held: the first focused on the issue of data survey and accessibility analysis and the second gathered contributions on innovation and multimodality.
In the first part case studies on the travel behavior survey data collection were presented, with two very interesting papers from India and Germany. In the second part the two issues on “New Mobility” and “Multimodal solutions“ were brought together with the results of two papers from France and South Africa. A dedicated part of the session focused on the need of LMICs.
